Assets4Rail
Witt Solutions GmbH is taking part as an expert for direct current in the 30-month Assets4Rail project which is part of the “Shift2Rail” campaign.
“Assets4Rail is a 30 months Shift2Rail project which will contribute to the modal shift to rail by exploring, adapting and testing cutting-edge technologies for railway asset monitoring and maintenance.”

As part of this research project, Witt Solutions GmbH installed the measuring circuit of a “Point machine” (German switch motor) in Lithuania. With the help of this innovative point machine, the point setting motors can be monitored and the resulting data (e.g. when and where a defect occurs) can be stored and analyzed centrally.
Before that, Witt Solutions GmbH had already installed an RFID in Elstal / Wustermark.
