Application
The device is used to monitor the DC voltage monitoring of contact line voltage of DC rail systems. This is necessary, for example, if it has to be measured before connecting individual route sections. The sections may only be electrically connected if all voltage values are within a certain window.
Description
In the case of DC traction power supply, the device monitors the contact line voltages, e.g. route sections, and uses potential-free relay contacts to indicate whether these voltage values are within the permissible window.
The device does not require any auxiliary voltage and is intended for top-hat rail mounting.
Function
If all overhead line voltages of the route sections that are to be interconnected are within the permissible range, a connection between the sections can be activated.
