The testing device „WITT EscS P1000“ is used for testing of switching behavior of VLD.
Description
The testing device is build into a resilient hard-sided case. By oping the cases you gain access to testing jacks, display and control elements.
The supply voltage of 230 VAC will be imparted by the front (rubber connection). Witt Solutions GmbH also offers a model of the testing device with is power by battery. The charge state is display on the front panel.
Function
The testing device will be connected to the grounding terminal of the VLD via a safety lab socket. By pressing the “Start”-button the testing device will send out the requested voltage and will identify the timeline until the appearance of short-circuit at the test jack. The timeline will be displayed.
In case the test object did not switch after 300.000ms (5min.), the device will automatically turn off.
In case the testing device runs on battery, it will automatically turn off after 5 minutes. Of course the it will save all data intern.
