Description
The WB-AP is a component that ensures the autonomous operation of measurement, control and regulation modules.
The WB-AP component can be fitted with different accumulators. It monitors the energy sources and passes on their status within the measuring platform. Charging is battery-specific via the WB service adapter or the iWTC.
Basic model
- WB-AP S can be fitted with 3,400 mAh
- WB-AP M can be fitted with 7,000 mAh
- WB-AP XL “corpulent” accumulators
Application
The WB-AP provides energy for WB measurement and control modules via rechargeable batteries and thus enables autonomous operation, for example of the WB-VLDM component. Charging typically takes place in the office with the WB service adapter. The iWTC with the 2010 extension can be used to charge the batteries and carry out a battery test. Both the WB-AP S and WB-AP M can be easily retrofitted or upgraded with standard industrial batteries. The WB-AP XL can be upgraded to a mass storage unit with external block batteries.
Functional description
The WB-AP provides the WB components with the required energy. During the charging process, the voltage and temperature of the installed batteries are transmitted to the WB service adapter and the iWTC or the 2010 extension.
