Continuous monitoring of passive surge arresters and voltage limiting devices of classes 1, 2 and 2.2 in accordance with EN 50526-02, as well as voltage surge arresters (SDS) and hybrid voltage limiters (HVL).

Application
The VLDM system aims to optimize the cyclical testing of breakdown fuses (SDS) or Voltage limiting devices (HVL) as required by EN 50122. Permanent monitoring allows you to switch from cyclical monitoring to reactive activities. This makes it possible to send maintenance personnel to the defective components in a targeted manner. Manual cyclical monitoring is therefore no longer necessary. Several solutions are available for parameterization and battery charging.

Functional description
The fuse components are permanently monitored by the built-in WB-VLDM. The operating states can be interpreted by evaluating the supply line.
The status of the backup, the energy source and the system can be reported cyclically. If an event occurs during the backup, this is displayed in the form of an event message.
Threshold values, target numbers, SIM PIN numbers etc. can be freely parameterized using the WB service adapter or iWTC.
The runtime depends on the batteries installed and many other parameters (see option 4).
The system is operated using two buttons or four LEDs, which can be used to display the current status of the system and reset the system to its default parameters.

Scope of delivery
We supply the VLDM system as a complete system solution. This consists of the components agreed with you, for example WB-VLDM, WB-AP and sensor, which are installed in a compact GRP cabinet. We import your parameters as part of the outgoing goods inspection. The VLDM system is usually manufactured individually for you.
