Insulation and earth potentials

In isolated structures such as a direct current railway, it is essential to monitor voltages and electrical currents in order to prevent stray currents.
These pose a certain risk and can cause considerable damage to structures.

Our measuring devices determine the values between the electrical potentials of different measuring points – for example, railway earth and water earth – and evaluate the voltages that occur or determine the currents.

The threshold values can be displayed using potential-free contacts. It is also possible to transfer measured values and threshold values to a SCADA system.
