    TVM system: Underground tunnel – voltage detection relay

    The WITT TVM system monitors the traction voltage in both directions of travel using a single, factory-preconfigured unit – ideal for installation in underground railway tunnels. Up to two TVM components – analogue voltage monitors or voltage signalling relays – are housed in a highly compact V2A stainless steel enclosure, which can withstand even severe external impacts such as rockfall or vandalism. Highly insulating separation zones within the enclosure prevent voltage cross-contamination between the different voltage ranges, as well as between the operating and signalling voltages. The system is supplied ready for operation and fully configured – there is no need for on-site commissioning or parameterisation.

    The WB-BCO measurement adapter enables current and voltage measurements to be carried out on DEHN BLITZDUCTORconnect BCO ML2 combination arresters (6 mm wide) without disconnecting the existing wiring.
