WB-AP battery pack for MSR components
Here you can find out more VertriebsanfrageThe WB-AP supplies WB measurement, control and regulation modules – such as the WB-VLDM – with battery power for autonomous operation, whilst monitoring the voltage and temperature of the batteries in use. There are three versions to choose from: WB-AP S (up to four batteries, each with a capacity of 3,400 mAh), WB-AP M (up to three batteries, each with a capacity of 7,000 mAh) and WB-AP XL, which can be expanded with external battery packs to provide mass storage. Optionally, the capacity can be recharged via a solar panel – ideal for locations without a fixed
Description
WP-AP application
Where no fixed power supply is available, the WB-AP still enables your WB components to operate autonomously – for example, for a WB-VLDM used to monitor voltage-breakdown fuses at a site without a mains connection. Charging is carried out conveniently via the WB Service Adapter T2 in the office, which features an integrated battery test function. If energy requirements increase, the WB-AP S and WB-AP M can be easily retrofitted with additional standard industrial batteries; the WB-AP XL is expanded to provide mass storage using external block batteries. Optionally, a solar panel ensures that the batteries recharge themselves continuously.
Benefits for the business
- Location-independent: Autonomous operation even without a fixed power supply.
- Scalable: From a single module (WB-AP S) to mass storage (WB-AP XL).
- Low-maintenance: The battery status (voltage, temperature) is continuously monitored and reported to the measurement platform.
- Scalable for the long term: Optional solar panel for continuous recharging without a mains connection.
Function of the WB-AP
The WB-AP supplies the WB components with the energy required for autonomous operation and can be fitted with various types of rechargeable batteries. During the charging process, it transmits the voltage and temperature of the installed batteries to the WB Service Adapter T2, which also carries out a battery test. During operation, the WB-AP continuously monitors the energy sources and relays their status to the measurement platform. The WB-AP S and WB-AP M can be easily retrofitted with standard industrial batteries or have their capacity increased; the WB-AP XL accommodates any external block batteries and can thus be expanded into a mass storage unit. A solar panel can be added as an option to recharge the batteries.
