Description
The TVM (Traction drive Voltage Monitoring) is generally used as a voltage monitor for the contact wire voltage in DC railway systems. This is necessary, for example, if measurements have to be carried out before the individual sections of a suburban or underground railway are interconnected.
The sections may only be electrically connected if all voltage values are within a certain window.
In addition, the TVM can indicate high voltages in safety areas, e.g. a conductor rail of an underground.
