Since 1982 WITT has independently developed and marketed patented resetting short-circuit to earth (EKS or VLD) systems. See patent 10 2016 215 769 for the reduction of a potential difference between earth connections / earthing systems of a railway
network Earth Short Circuiting device ESC.
Many of the systems such as PÜWE or SBE are used by qualified REGIONAL RAIL TRANSPORT
and German Federal Railway Authority such as EKS1000 and are critical infrastructures of railway operators.
You can choose from 5000 options:
- Nominal voltages 200 to 6,000V DC
- Determination of DC, AC and mixed voltage
- Realises DIN EN 50122 for system and personal protection
- Realisation of DIN EN 50526 with different systems
- Outputs 2.8kA to 100k
- Extensive self-tests and monitoring
- Classic operation (push-buttons, switches etc.) or LCD touch screen
